What Llanfair Believes:
The church came into existance in 1992. A maisonette block,
scheduled for demolition was refurbished and offically opened on
February 29th 1992. During the last decade, Llanfair has
attempted to be faithful to the Gospel by serving the community of
Penrhys. Work and Worship have been at the heart of Llanfair's
action. A pattern of Christian Nurture has developed, shaped by
two principles:
- Faithfullness to the text of the Gospel
- Faithfullness to the context of contemporary community
Mission is far more than words, and Llanfair is grateful to
God for a
life centered on the litergy of God in nurture (worship) and in service
with the community (our social action). Both hands of God are at
work.
