Honduras Challenges

Immigration

In San Nicolas, our group spent a great deal of time discussing the
phenomena of immigration.  San Nicolas is a complex community and no one in
the community is untouched by the heartbreaking reality of economic hardship
or social injustice.  Thus, every family is affected by the reality of
thousands of Hondurans that immigrate to the United States looking for a
way to financially support their loved ones.  I am including the address of
a website.

This is the website for the Pulitzer Prize winning special the LA Times
published this past year about a young Honduran, Enrique, and his journey to
the states.  The story and the photos are fantastic.  I wish I could say it
was uncommon.
